Daniel Wilson, Jr. is a rising senior at The University of Georgia double majoring in Supply Chain Management & Economics. He is currently interning at Georgia-Pacific LLC and has previous experience in supply chain/operations with Augusta National Golf Club & UGA Athletics Association (Football). He, also, is a member of the UGA Supply Chain Advisory Board, UGA Management Society, and will be piloting a new Supply Chain Analytics Course in the fall with Dr. Jan Zantinga. Roby Redwine is a rising senior graduating in December of 2019. While pursuing a degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Operations and Supply Chain, Roby is also tacking on a minor in Horticulture. He has spent most of his time outside of academic pursuits honing artisan skills as a cook in multiple local Athens restaurants, or pursuing his own small-scale horticulture business. He has already had proven experience as a greenhouse management and nursery operations intern and is currently focusing on major-related challenges as a procurement/logistics specialist for Fire and Flavor. Post-graduation, he will be seeking a career in the field of supply chain that will ideally allow him to pair a passion for food with a desire to source and efficiently manage the transportation logistics of meat and produce as is required to provide the freshest, safest, highest quality ingredients to professional food operations as well as the end consumer. Chantel McCarty is a rising senior at The University of Georgia and is pursuing a BBA in Marketing and Management (supply chain emphasis) along with a New Media Certificate. Over the last few summers she has interned with NOW Foods in roles ranging from an operations and continuous improvement intern to an Amazon marketing intern. This summer she is interning at WestRock as a Digital Engagement Intern under the Communications department and has the opportunity to tour facilities as well as connect with professionals in the company’s supply chain department. Chantel is looking to work in a role related to production planning.

Dr. Troy A. Montgomery is a performance improvement professional focused on identifying business opportunities, solving problems, improving operations, and working with executive leaders to implement solutions for change. He is currently a full time faculty member in the Terry College of Business management department where he teaches undergrad and graduate operations management, supply chain management, and project management. Troy is also managing partner at SC&E Partners, an advisory firm focused on helping organizations succeed in strategic change and execution. He has more than 15 years of experience working with large organizations across multiple industries.

Prior to teaching, Troy started his career as an engineer at General Electric where he successfully led manufacturing projects and later large teams in the field of operations. He moved into a career in consulting where he helped solve complex business problems and advised executives in Fortune 500 companies that included Bank of America and Humana. Troy is also an experienced researcher, adjunct professor, and dissertation chair to doctoral candidates at the University of South Florida. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering with honors from the University of Notre Dame, graduated top of his MBA class at the University of Georgia, and earned his Doctorate degree in Business Administration (DBA) from the University of South Florida. Troy is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a Project Management Professional (PMP). Outside of teaching and advising organizations, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter. Scott W. Luton is the founder of Supply Chain Now Radio. He has worked extensively in the end-to-end Supply Chain industry for more than 15 years, appearing in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Dice and Quality Progress Magazine. Scott currently serves as Executive Vice President of APICS Atlanta and was recently named a 2019 Pro to Know in Supply Chain by Supply & Demand Executive. He founded the 2019 Atlanta Supply Chain Awards and also served on the 2018 Georgia Logistics Summit Executive Committee. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and holds the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) credential. A Veteran of the United States Air Force, Scott volunteers on the Business Pillar for VETLANTA and serves on the advisory board for the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance.
